Rebecca Bloch is a creative artist who has been writing and singing her own music for over twenty years. Born in Columbia, South America, she was orphaned at the age of three and encountered countless abusive situations in foster care homes before being adopted by an American family at age ten. As a teenager she picked up a guitar and discovered her love for songwriting. Rebecca has written hundreds of songs. Some have called her "one of the most mature songwriters and voices in our time." Each of her songs comes from the intimate place she's found in God and reflects His greatness and power to live a surrendered life in Christ.
Rebecca laid down the tracks to these songs in a day and a half, most in one take with her guitar in hand. Many songs have been written since, but these had to be shared with those who have an ear to hear. Enjoy a deep encounter with God as you listen.

Always captured by the words in a songs, she grew up in the hills of Wood Mountain in a rodeo/ranching family. Western & Country Music were her influences. Singing along side her father & sisters,learned to play guitar in her early teens. Sang in her local church since a child, and 15 more years leading workship during her married life. Plays Bass Guitar, sings lead & harmony Vocals with the Badland Country Band since 2006. Gina brings to the stage new energy and a voice that is strong and true to her ranching roots. Gina has just released her solo ep "Rancher's Daughter". CD available for purchase at live shows this summer. Gina will be performing at local Southern Saskatchewan Venues this summer including the Redneck Rumble Friday, Aug. 12th, 2011 and the 1st Wood Mountain Fold Festival Sat. Aug 27, 2011.

Beauty for Ashes is a diverse collection of contemporary Christian worship. This project was inspired from a desire to benefit the orphans of Liberia. It is music with a mission. The album is stylistically diverse but signatures rich overtones of worship. The music organically comes together as a musical mosaic of Christian rock and heart felt ballads. This diverse assortment of songs, whether driven electric leads or gentle rhythms of mandolin and acoustic guitar, beautifully design a tapestry of musical flavor all connected by love and tied to the hearts of the orphans in Liberia. This project has partnered with Orphan Relief and Rescue in assisting these orphans. The Beauty for Ashes Project Band is a collection of musicians who are currently serving or have served at CrossRoads in Moss Bluff, Louisiana.
